Why request a case review with us?
Edmonton Top Law is a litigation-focused boutique. We're selective in the matters we accept and intentional about how we work — which means clear, candid guidance from the lawyer who'll actually handle your file.
Direct Lawyer Involvement
Your inquiry is reviewed by Majd Mouzaffar directly — not an intake coordinator or paralegal. At Edmonton Top Law, you speak with the lawyer handling your file from the start.
Selective Intake
We are intentionally selective in the matters we accept. That means more focused attention on your case and a clear, candid assessment of fit from the outset — without sales pressure.
Strategic From Day One
Every file begins with a clear strategy aligned to your objectives. We identify leverage points and chart a structured path forward before any action is taken.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the consultation last?
We offer two formats: a focused 15-minute initial intake to assess whether your matter is a fit for the firm, and a longer 30–45 minute consultation for matters we accept. We confirm which format is appropriate when we respond to your request — usually within 24 hours.
Do I need to bring any documents?
Not for the initial conversation. If you have relevant documents — contracts, court orders, correspondence, financial records, or anything related to your matter — having them on hand can help us provide more specific guidance, but it isn't required to schedule an intake.
What types of matters does Edmonton Top Law handle?
We focus on three practice areas: Family Law (divorce, custody, support, property division, prenuptial and cohabitation agreements, protective orders), Civil Litigation (debt recovery, property and contract disputes, general civil claims), and Commercial Litigation (business and contractual conflicts, corporate disputes, insurance disputes).
Will I be obligated to retain you after the consultation?
No. The consultation is free and carries no obligation. Because we're selective about the matters we accept, we'll also be candid about whether your matter is a fit for the firm — and if it isn't, we'll point you toward an appropriate alternative.
Can I bring someone with me to the consultation?
Yes. You're welcome to bring a spouse, family member, business partner, or trusted advisor. Legal matters often involve multiple stakeholders, and we encourage you to bring whoever is relevant to your situation.
